Houston, TX
Yesterday (12/19) was Mitch's birthday. For the most part, it was a very stressful day for him, mostly because of the extreme aggravation (in Yiddish - tzoris) due to his dr. appt being cancelled without his knowledge. He's been trying desperately to find a psychiatrist who can manage his ADHD medications, and no one else was available until the middle of January (recall 2 weeks ago he signed up for a new PCP, only to find that regular MDs can't prescribe for that in TX - only psychs). So now we'll just need to wait a few more weeks for yet another doctor to visit. We both also worked all day.We did have a very nice dinner out, though. There is a section about 8 miles from us which they call "Chinatown," although there is quite a lot, if not more, Korean and Vietnamese establishments (with a bunch of Indian thrown in). What's really amazing is there are a LOT of restaurants in the area that are totally vegetarian. Mitch was in the mood for Chinese, so we found a place called Pine Forest Gardens, which had a buffet. It was awesome being able to choose from everything there!
This is the 3rd celebration here in the RV. Here are links to the past 2 years:
