Long day - Yr 1, Day 296

As stated yesterday, we spent the day in the customer lounge at the RV dealer/service facility/campground.  We got there at 8:00, were seen by the manager at 8:30, and finally left at 6:45pm.

There are several issues.  First, regarding the slide, it's kind of a long, technical explanation which I'm not going to go into here, but it will require quite a lot of time to fix and several thousand $$.  We spent time on the phone and email trying to work with the insurance and warranty companies to see what would be covered, and then we need to figure out when the repair place can do the work.  It seems to stem from an engineering flaw in the way the bedroom slide was designed, so we're also in touch with the manufacturer to see what, if anything, they can/will do.

The other issue is the tank.  The black tank valve was leaking, which they fixed today, but they feel the patch job is not going to hold up and the tank should be replaced.  Insurance agreed to cover that, so we just need to figure out when (probably when we're back here for the rally in May).

So we will talk with them tomorrow to figure out next steps and timing and then figure out where to go from here.
