First - update on repairs: all done -- electricity working nicely and no more humming from the hot water heater. Paid our $100 deductible plus parts; about $170 of an almost $400 bill.The drive to the shul, about 25 miles, took us almost 45 minutes, but it was very well worth it. Services were really wonderful and very spiritually uplifting. Nice place, nice people, lots of singing, and even a sermon and a few explanations. If there was a campground closer, I would probably ask to spend an extended period of time with this community. Hopefully we'll have a chance in our future travels to stop by again.
Tomorrow we resume our daily travels - heading to Jonesburg, MO. See you then! Tomorrow, Mitch and I also celebrate the 40th anniversary of our meeting (and 38th wedding anniversary on the 11th).
