And the good news... Day 854 (Yr 3, Day 121)

For the last week, we've been hearing a humming/motorized every time we run the hot water.  We were presuming there was a problem with the hot water heater.  Many of our peers online suggested a check valve (what is that???).  We had an RV mobile tech come out today to diagnose.  He concluded that the sounds was most likely due to the water pressure because he couldn't find any other symptoms that would tell of a problem (and he tested for a quite a few things).  That was the good news.

We also noticed white smoke coming from the exhaust of the truck.  We found a diesel mechanic who not only does a lot of 6.0L engines and has parts in stock, but offered to give us a loaner truck so he can work on ours, which is a humongous help.  We have an appt to bring it in tomorrow.  Fingers crossed that we get the same type of diagnosis!
