It always amazes me how catastrophes or any kind of event brings folks together. Besides how everyone pitched in to help each other out during the river flood on Monday (I never did mention how Mitch lent his truck to help another fifth wheel get out of their spot as they didn't have a tow vehicle -- someone else had to drive it though!), it forms new friendships.We had a very enjoyable evening around the campfire with 6 new folks who we met during the flood. Interesting that these people have been here for quite a while and we've never had the chance to meet them before.
I look forward to inviting them to a New Year's eve party tomorrow night! Hopefully I'll remember to take a few photos for posterity.
